HTML5 technology from The Edited Postman.
So, HTML5. What is it all about? Maybe this article will help.
- HTML5 is currently under development, as the next major revision of the HTML standard. Like its predecessors, HTML 4.01 and XHTML 1.1, HTML5 is a standard for structuring and presenting content on the World Wide Web. The new standard incorporates features like video playback and drag-and-drop that have been previously dependent on third-party browser plug-ins such as Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight.
Soon, most sites will be using it and even we are currently experimenting with it right now. It's a BETA feature, and kind of an easter egg, but it's a fun idea to see if your browser supports HTML 5.
Later on in the year, we will begin to experiment with YouTube's HTML 5 feature, and try and add it to our site as a BETA feature, and also add more HTML5 features. Until then, click here and tell us if your browser can support the latest version of HTML.
